Use of the site
KindHow provides free calculators that suggest gift and tip amounts, for informational purposes only. Every figure is produced by the Kindhow Scale, a published model that combines cited baselines with our own labelled judgment. It is a starting point for your own decision, not a rule, an obligation, or a statement of what anyone is owed. Social and cultural expectations vary by family, region, workplace and community in ways no model can see, and where an amount is a matter of judgment rather than a sourced figure, the site says so on the line itself.
No warranty
The content on KindHow is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site is error-free, that outputs are accurate for every input, or that the site will be uninterrupted or available at all times. Your use of the site is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KindHow and its operators disclaim all liability for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and code of KindHow are owned by KindHow and its operators, except where credited to an original source. You may use the site freely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce or republish KindHow content without permission.
